I love how Santa’s friends try to figure out why he’s so out of sorts, trying to cheer him up. We don’t expect to be sad after such a wonderful season with all the gifts and leftovers to enjoy but there’s so much more we love about Christmas that seems to fade when the day passes. Christmas may physically be just one day but you can keep the happiness and love generated from the holiday in your heart all year. Sad Santa is one Christmas story perfect for reading after the holidays.
